Responsibilities:

Financial accounting and reporting:

· Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles

· Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures; full responsibility of internal controls

· Prepare all supporting information for the annual audit and liaise with the Board's Audit Committee and the external auditors as necessary

· Manage the cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts in accordance with policy

· Manage the acquisition of capital assets and ensure that assets are properly recorded, amortized, and disposed of as appropriate

· Assist the CFO and the Treasurer with financial reporting as required at Board meeting and the Annual General Meetings

Cost Management and Contracts

· The GM Finance is responsible for monitoring and assesses cost efficiencies for small and big value contracts, including applied and unapplied costs

· Advise on commercial and financial implications of proposed contracts, biddings and manage submissions to the Group's real estate and monitor progress post implementation

· Review & approve major capital investments including projects, joint ventures, investments and M&A

· Reviewing and approving recommended policies and procedures governing the conduct of financial and contract management

Corporate Finance

· The GM will implement appropriate capital budgeting, capital structuring and funding strategies for all projects across the region

Team Management

· The GM is responsible for a large finance team based in the UAE and across MENA
