Your new company
Hays Accountancy & Finance is exclusively partnered with a private sector organisation based in Edinburgh City Centre. Our client is looking for a professional and ambitious Management Accountant on a permanent basis to join their finance team.
Your new role
Reporting into the CFO, as Management Accountant you will be responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts and additional management information. As main point of contact within the finance department you will have a sound understanding of the finance systems supporting the business and undertake involvement in projects to implement new systems or processes. You will be responsible for ensuring tax and VAT returns are submitted as well as responsible for cash management. You will also prepare information and support for the annual external audit process.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience as a Management Accountant where you're comfortable working in a small team of 4. You will have a high attention to detail and organisation skills are essential along with excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will have the ability to innovate and be creative around problem solving.
