Located in London's West End, our client is looking for a Finance Manager to join their growing accountancy team.
Description
Our client, a leading property & construction company located in London's West End, is looking for a Finance Manager with responsibility for the following duties:
* Initial involvement in all accounts procedures to gain understanding of the company and accounts function
* Line management of 3 Accounts Assistants
* Oversight of the sales ledger and purchase ledger processes
* Reviewing procedures to ensure they are adequately robust to facilitate the firm's growth
* Completing all month end procedures, leading to the production of accurate and timely flash reports and management accounts for review by the FC
* Leading the year end Audit
* Preparing VAT returns and related reconciliations, and making necessary payments
* Preparing quarterly Corporation Tax calculations and making necessary payments
* Work with external accountants to produce annual Corporation Tax return, and make necessary payment
* Work with external accountants to produce annual p11ds
* Ensure efficient and accurate delivery of work from the Accounts Team
* Conduct reviews and career development discussions with direct reports
* Act as a mentor and guide to junior team members
* Assist the FC with any ad hoc duties as required
