Finance Manager

An opportunity has come up for an experienced accountant to take on a Finance Manager position in a leading property business.

You will have a number of junior accountants reporting into you so there is a lot of responsibility to take on!

This is a temporary opportunity, however upon successful completion of the temporary assignment, a permanent offer will likely take place.

Client Details

My client are a rapidly expanding Property business who specialise in project management and property consultancy who work on both commercial and residential properties. They have offices across the UK and looking to expand to Europe so it is an exciting time to be joining the business.

My client are based a short walk from Bond Street.

Description

The key responsibilities will include:

• Managing 3/4 junior accountants
• Overseeing both the accounts payable/receivable functions
• Full month end duties including journals/prepayments/accruals
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• VAT returns and reconciliations
• Liaising with external accountant
• Year end audit and dealing with auditor queries
• Assisting with ad hoc duties
• Responsible for corporation tax
• Profit and loss analysis

Profile

The successful applicant:

• Finalist level ACCA/CIMA or Qualified by Experience
• Experienced in a similar role
• Have previous experience managing/mentoring a junior team member
• Experience in Sage Line 50 or a similar accounting system
• Attention to detail and ability to problem solve
• Great communication skills

£20-25 per hour with a permanent salary of £40,000-£45,000
