Assistant Accountant

Contract Assistant Accountant (9-12 months) - Cambridge - £28,000-£32,000 per annumA leading Cambridge employer currently have a requirement for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their existing accounts team covering a period of maternity leave.Reporting to the Management Accountant, this role will include the following:-Assist in the production of monthly consolidated management accounts including accruals-Maintain the Fixed Asset Register, including dealing with contractor valuations and accruals-Balance sheet reconciliations-Profit and Loss account analysis-Intercompany reconciliations, including quarterly reconciliations using parent company software-Complete National Statistic Forms on a monthly and quarterly basis-Bank reconciliationsCandidates wishing to be considered for this position should be AAT qualified or part ACCA/CIMA qualified, with recent management accounting experience.Goodcommunication skills are essential, as is the ability to work to tight deadlines and as part of a large team.This is a great opportunity to join a leading employer offering a competitive salary and benefits package.
