Assistant Management Accountant

High growth technology platform for the sporting sector are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join the team. This will be a great role for someone with a minimum of 12-18 months finance experience, looking to take a step up in their responsibilities.The role with involve: Ownership of the AR / Billing process, amounting to 1-2 days per week. Everything from billing, working with sales to review commercial terms and contracts and client liaison.Ownership of a number of key balance sheet items and all associated reconciliations at month end.Assisting with and taking on the accruals, prepayments, journals, as quickly as you are able to.Acting as a focus point for the new CRM system coming in place (linked to billing)Assisting with year end audit process.Dealing with and supporting the FC with ad-hoc requests for information and analysis. About you: Either a grad who has embarked on CIMA or ACCA study or someone who has come via the AAT route.Solid theoretical understanding of debits and credits.Ideally 12 months + in an accounts receivable role with the wish to learn and take on more.Good work ethic, team player, eager, keen to learn.
