Assistant Management Accountant

Macildowie Recruitment is currently assisting one of Leicestershire 'go to' businesses with the recruitment of an Assistant Management Accountant. Based close to the city this exciting role has come about due growth within the business and needing to strengthen its accounting team ahead of its next period of growth. Located on the edge of the city the business is commutable from all areas of Leicester.Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Assistant Management Accountant will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts and working along side finance and operations in the meaningful interpretation of accounts for the business. Responsibility's will including assisting with monthly accounts, preparation of the monthly board pack, key kpi reporting, reactive and proactive financial analysis, assisting with the annual budget and assisting with the long term business plan.This is a great role for an Assistant Accountant who is looking to a step up into a bigger role that will offer wider business exposure. To be considered for the role candidates will only be considered who is degree educated with a minimum of a 2.1 and who are at PQ stage in either CIMA OR ACCA with a plan to qualify in the next 12 months.The business offers a fantastic culture and they have a strong history of being able to develop accounts careers. The role offers a salary range of between £26,500 and £32,000 plus a bonus and a full study package.
