Who we are looking for
You're a business-smart AAT qualified accountant who's either working towards a CIMA/ACCA qualification, or you have the experience to match it. Ideally you are up-to-speed with NAVISION and / or Hyperion and Smartview, but equally, we like that you have an attention to detail, are logical and methodical through-and-through, have exceptionally high work standards and can back your superb Excel skills with great interpersonal and communication skills. That's because you've got plenty of experience of working in a dynamic reporting and control team and understand the workings of a multi-site hospitality or retail business. Any international experience is ideal, but not essential. And if you've had the chance to support a financial controller so that you've gained commercial finance experience it's bound to help, but bring us your willingness to learn and we'll sure you'll fit right in.
A bit about the role
We're taking the Costa experience to new markets. Yet to give them the chance they need to succeed, and avoid risk where possible, they'll need you. You'll help with the accurate accounting, reporting and invoicing of all our international franchise and equity royalties, as well as assist with the analysis of results. You'll also support our operational teams by providing robust, weekly sales and KPI reports and strengthening business controls - making recommendations for improvements where you see fit. Naturally, everything your do will need to be compliant and to the highest standards as laid out by our financial control framework. And with some 1,200 stores to report on, it's a role that's going to stretch and challenge you.
