Norfolk Community Health and Care Trust are offering an exciting opportunity for 2 Finance Apprenticeship Roles, based in Norwich.
This offer includes the fantastic opportunity to gain the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Qualification starting at entry Level 2. With allocated study time at college and the support of a study mentor in the Finance Team to support them in developing a career within finance. The Trust is an accredited employer with AAT, ACCA (GOLD) and CIMA Training Provider.
You will provide support within the Management Accounts team and Financial Controls team and will learn the functions of the Finance Department. The roles are an integral part of the finance department structure and come with their own tasks and responsibilities:
These include general administration duties, the raising of invoices, monitoring of payments to suppliers, supporting the generation of management accounting reports, assisting in preparation of external reporting and support work on annual budget setting processes and forecasts.
You should have a good solid general education, be numerate, have good technical and keyboard skills (MS Excel would be ideal), show initiative, have the ability to work to tight schedules and a genuine keen interest in finance.
It is intended to commence the roles at the start of September 2019 for a period of 12 months.
