An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Accountant to work for this successful company.
You will be responsible for:
Assisting with the management accounts and providing support to the Finance Manager Responsible for journal entries and assisting with the month end close Journal preparation and nominal ledger coding Processing financial information onto the accounting systems Supplier statement reconciliations and resolving invoice queries Processing all weekly payments of invoices using internet banking Reconciling the company’s bank account on a daily basis Recording expenditure, keeping records of purchases and managing a petty cash budget Credit control and chasing overdues invoices for payments Processing VAT returns Payroll
You will be part-qualified and competent in the use of Excel and Sage Line 50. The ability to work in a team or on your own initiative is essential.
