My Client based in St. Albans are looking for a Group Management Accountant to join them on a permanent basis. This International Retail giant have a member of staff going on maternity leave in two months time. This has led to this piece of recruitment commencing.

Due to the planned growth they require management accountants with a high level of commercial acumen to help forecast & budget in an effort to drive the business forward.
The business' success will be largely impacted by the financial models, forecasts and variances analysed by the management accountant in this business partnering role.
Description
This Group Management Accountant Position will involve
* Preparation of Management Accounts & group consolidation
* Month end journals including accruals & prepayments
* Investigating potential areas for revenue growth & new stores
* Assisting internal stakeholders and providing financial support for new projects
* Producing budgets & forecasts on new stores & locations
* Ad-hoc reporting & analysis
* Variance analysis
Profile
The Successful Group Management Accountant will be
* At Least Part Qualified (ACCA, CIMA)
* An Advanced Excel user (Strong V-Look-Ups & Pivot Table Skills area necessity)
* Ideally experienced within the retail sector
*A strong communicator and happy to liaise with commercial department heads
