Description

Reporting to the Financial Controller, your role as Assistant Management Accountant will support the accountancy function in producing and developing key reports, closing off the month end ledgers and also overseeing transactional processing requirements. Your day to day duties will include:

• Preparing monthly management accounts including profit and loss reports, balance sheet reconciliations and cash flow analysis
• Posting accruals and prepayments
• Maintaining the fixed asset register
• VAT returns
• Assisting in preparing annual budgets
• Monthly forecasting and variance analysis
• Sales reporting

Profile

The successful applicant to the Assistant Management Accountant role must have the following skills and experience:

• Actively studying towards CIMA/ACCA
• Ambitions to progress within the organisation
• Strong Excel skills and able to do v look ups, pivot tables
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience of report writing
• Able to demonstrate continuous improvement mindset
• Attention to detail
