Regional Internal Auditor, APAC (MNC/Town/Gd Benefits)

Job Description :

Our client is one of the established Technology MNCs with a strong CSR presence
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and execute the full audit cycle in Asia Pacific Operating Companies to determine financial reliability, operational effectiveness and compliance with all applicable standards and regulations
• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal control as well as identify audit issues and concerns in pursuit of practical and value-added recommendations for the management
• Obtain, analyse and evaluate financial statements, accounting entries and key control processes/ workflow
• Communicate and resolve audit issues and obtain management buy-in with constructive recommendations
• Prepare and present reports that reflect audits results
• Maintain open communication with management and assist in regional audit planning and coordination
• Active follow-ups on audit plans and implementation of audit recommendations are also required
• Keep abreast of company policies and procedures, current developments in accounting and auditing professions
• Participate in global audit with a multinational team and flexibility to work across time zones when necessary
• Assist in organizing and managing ad-hoc audit/ finance related projects

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Accounting / ACCA or equivalent with CA / CIA certification
• Minimum 5 years of risk-based experience in financial & operational audit with a reputable accounting firm and/or as an internal auditor with established listed companies or MNCs.
• Good knowledge of risk management, internal auditing technique, IFRS and GAAP
• Proactive mindset and positive attitude
• Meticulous and excellent analytical skills
• High level of integrity, self-motivated and able to work under pressure & tight deadlines
• Able to travel regionally / internationally
• Able to work independently with sound judgment
• Prior working experience in organizing / managing finance related projects will also considered

OTHER INFORMATION:

• Working hours: 5 days, 9am 6pm
• Location: Town area
• Regional travel up to 30%
