This role is part of a newly created team that focuses on supporting the Group research and innovation department. This role will be a critical point of contact and information for the senior executive committee and the board.

Description

  • Management of investment cases across a range of technological/ business areas
  • Development of financial models
  • Develop strong working relationships with other group departments (Business Development) in order to assist with wider Group opportunities
  • Lead, support and assist with other ad-hoc projects to board level standard
  • Develop a broad network and understanding of operations across the Group
  • Drive culture of continuous improvement

Profile

  • Fully Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
  • Excellent commercial awareness - with experience in investment appraisal
  • Enthusiastic and passionate
  • willingness to take ownership of work and responsibility for delivering to stakeholders
  • confident and articulate communicator
