Bookkeeper

My client is an established accountancy practice currently looking for a Bookkeeper to join their team in Barnet.Reporting directly to the Partner you will be responsible for the following duties:• Undertaking bookkeeping duties including purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control for clients• Completing bank account reconciliations• Understanding VAT requirements, concepts and calculations • Assisting in preparation and filing of VAT returns • Understanding and applying the rules of double entry bookkeeping in all respects• Developing working relationships with clients• Using excellent written and oral communication• General administration tasks, including filing, photocopying, scanning etc. • Develop an understanding of the Firm's methods and standards of work requiredYou will need to have a minimum 2 years experience in a bookkeeping role within an accountancy practice and be part or fully AAT or ACCA qualified.
