Assistant Management Accountant

As a result of continued growth, my client is investing further in their people through the recruitment of an Assistant Management Accountant to support the monthly Management Accounts process. Based in Manchester, my client is investing further in their facilities, and currently refurbishing their sizable offices to an impressive modern standard.My client is a growing £10m t/o business, who have international subsidiaries and are owned by a cash rich, global Plc. The opportunities to gain genuine, varied Month End experience within this business are excellent and I would encourage applications from ambitious CIMA/ACCA/ACA candidates. Reporting directly to a Qualified Financial Controller, the successful candidate will fully support the Management Accounts process, inclusive of P&L and Balance Sheet, as well as assisting with forecasting and budgeting. The successful Assistant Management Accountant will input into both UK and Overseas Management Accounts. Your further responsibilities will extend to Foreign Currency, Hedging, VAT Returns, Accruals and Pre-payments, Payroll, Intrastats and AP and AR. You will also support the Audit and Year End. Experience of Sage 200 is advantageous, and MS Excel essential.The business has a great blend of a thriving SME with huge ambition, mixed with the backing of a high performing international Plc.
