FP & A Analyst

I am currently recruiting for a permanent FP & A Analyst for a leading Cork based IT multinational. This role reports into the FP & A Manager and will work closely with the Commercial Analysts and various areas of the business, in particular Sales Operations, Finance and Business Intelligence. This role is ideal for candidates who are extremely curious, data/information hungry, advanced users of Excel, BI tools and enterprise systems and highly self-driven. The role will involve: Providing business planning support to Sales Operations Leaders. Operate necessary planning systems to submit plans and forecasts at required milestones. Bring together various functions of the business (e.g. HR, Sales Ops, IT, etc) to ensure the planning process & outputs are robust, thorough and end to end. Deep dive where necessary to analyse particular areas of the business which require attention. Identify and clarify main drivers of business plans and ensure they are reflected accurately within business plans. Assist with Europe revenue and margin reports for quarterly reporting, forecasting and planning. Manage annual budget and quarterly forecast and effective P&L reviews against agreed financial targets. Evaluate monthly/quarterly results on both Revenue (Product, Customer etc) and Contribution Margin Prepare and present analysis to senior business and finance leadership through meaningful and detailed commentary. Work with other Finance teams to ensure smooth month end process and meeting all Corporate Finance Deadlines. Work with Business Intelligence team to build and develop reports and visual analysis of business performance Requirements for the role will include: Multinational experience is essential due to the complexity of  the role Fully qualified Accountancy qualification (ACCA or ACA) preferred however applications do not need to be coming from a traditional financial background. A highly structured and organised person that thrives applying these skills in an unstructured situation. You actively listen to be able to comprehend the true meaning in conversations and apply high levels of emotional intelligence to your interpretation. You enjoy conversations as it's another source of data. You are a team player and enjoy interacting with people. You are an advanced Excel user but you have also started experimenting with other data analysis tools. You are savvy with BI tools and with enterprise technologies such as CRM, ERP and Planning systems. You are known for your agile delivery style - always responsive and lean in your approach to work.
