This is an exciting opportunity for a Credit Controller from a service industry to join a large London based company in the accountancy team. As they grow and workload increases this has allowed for more opportunities within the organisation.

Description

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring timely collection of unpaid invoices
  • Working closely with accountancy team
  • Allocation of payments onto the system
  • Ensuring invoice quires are managed in a timely manner
  • Sending reminder letters to customers regarding aged debt
  • Ensuring payment plans are set and abided to by non-paying customers
  • Ensuring strong working relationships with third party is maintained
  • Removing service from non paying customers

    The successful Credit Controller from a service industry will:

  • Be well polished with strong experience
  • Have strong communication skills
  • Polite and confident telephone manner
  • Be open minded and eager to learn new skills
  • Enjoy a fast paced working environment
  • Have experience collecting in a service based environment
  • Be aware of the process when stopping someones service due to non payment
  • Understand of escalation to third parties
  • Strong work ethic and perform well under tight deadlines
