The Torch Theatre is looking for a qualified accountant [or at least qualified to degree level of education within a relevant discipline], with extensive financial management experience. Theatre experience is desirable but not essential.

The successful candidate will be a part of and work closely with the Senior Management Team (SMT) and be responsible for leading and managing a small Finance team.

This is a Senior Management role with specific financial management responsibility for the development, implementation and on-going oversight of financial policies, practices, processes and systems; production of the annual budget and monthly management accounts and the production of quarterly finance reports; management of the external audit and production of year end statutory accounts; relationship management with banks, HMRC and other finance related organisations; providing comprehensive support to colleagues, budget-holders on budgeting and reporting; supporting the Executive Director in financial analysis, planning, management and reporting to the Board of Management (the Board).
