Assistant Financial Controller

Job Title: Assistant Financial Controller- S008574 Salary: Salary €55 plus benefits Location: Dublin West/ Kildare Role: Our client is now seeking and Assistant Financial Controller to join their team in Dublin. This role will bring service delivery and process expertise to the R2R work stream within the shared service and ensure that proper financial control is continuously in place . Role Responsibilities: ·      The successful candidate will maximise the benefits and minimises the risks of the original options by creating an overarching strategy as a result of analysis ·      Ensuring the implementation of longer-term plans or delivery of large-scale projects ·      The successful candidate will interact, influence and gain support from groups of stakeholders. ·      Promote the Finance strategy and will bring solutions to management to maximize efficiencies. ·      Financial Management and Reporting - deliver the monthly/quarterly and annual reporting in accordance with corporate requirements, ensuring accurate financial data is submitted ·      Ensure proper financial control across the businesses. ·      Meet all reporting deadlines and ensure monthly reconciliation files are reviewed in a timely and accurate manner. ·      Monitor R2R services provided by the outsourced ·      Identify and implement continuous improvement. ·      Carry out any Adhoc activities as and when they arrive. ·      Ensure appropriate internal controls are in place and operating effectively to mitigate any risk or financial loss or misstatement ·      Perform duties in a compliant manner and behave in accordance with company standards and guidelines and relevant legal requirements ·      Understand Standard Operation Procedures applicable to role ·      Must report all accidents, incidents and any EHS issues using the appropriate process /system to your line manager ·      Must maintain GMP standards where appropriate to your role ·      Candidate must attend training and complete assessments as required Skills and Experience Required: ·      Must be a qualified accountant with 1-3 years' experience in a multi-national organisation ·      Candidates must have a third level Degree ·      Must have excellent communication and organisational skills. ·      Must have excellent PC Skills ·      Must be meticulous- paying great attention to detail.
