Key responsibilities

Project Management

  • Actively manage several projects across multiple workstreams within the Europe Finance function concurrently
  • Present to, and liaise with, senior management across Finance to agree project scope and provide updates on progress vs. plan
  • Professionally and consistently lead project team meetings with stakeholders from varying functions and locations
  • Delegate project actions and hold those responsible to account through consistent project cadence
  • Maintain Project Management discipline, including risk management and mitigation

Process Mapping

  • Become embedded in the Europe Commercial Finance Team to understand their current processes and the associated pain points (i.e. potential future projects)
  • Using MS Visio, clearly document as-is processes and design to-be processes
  • Implement and action project plans to transition from the as-is to the to-be process

Financial Modelling

  • Design and develop Excel based financial models, applying best practice financial modelling techniques
  • Enhance the existing financial models in use within the Finance function to ensure they are automated, robust and risk free
  • Develop financial reporting models in Microsoft Power BI for the Commercial Finance Function

Qualifications and skills

  • Circa 4+ years’ experience in a similar role, ideally with exposure to large finance teams and project orientated continuous improvement activity
  • Experience in Financial modelling
  • PMO experience
  • Process focused mind-set with the ability to simplify complicated procedures so that they are easily understandable to end users
  • Advanced Excel and Visio skills
  • Experience working with, and challenging, senior management
  • Excellent written, communication and presentation skills
  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Drive and determination to succeed and progress in their career
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
