Assistant Accountant

Our client; an instantly recognisable household name are looking for a driven Assistant Accountant to join their diverse finance function in Haywards Heath.

This is a challenging role which requires a strong skill set to take ownership of the following:
·Covering a transactional work flow including both purchase ledger and cash-book maintenance
·Preparation of monthly management accounts
·Preparation of month end journals, accruals and prepayments
·Expense analysis
·Cashbook and balance sheet reconciliation
·Maintenance of fixed asset register

The ideal candidate will be:
·Preferably studying towards and accountancy qualification - ACCA or CIMA
·Previous experience within a diverse Assistant Accountant role
·Strong excel ability
·Driven with strong attention to detail
