FINANCE ASSISTANT - OXFORDSHIRE - FULL TIME

Accountancy Elite have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Finance Assistant to join a sales and distribution company based in Oxfordshire that operate with some of the worlds largest brands! The ideal candidate will possess previous experience, be able to work as part of a team, and ideally within retail distribution if possible. The candidate should be proactive and have the vision to implement and establish procedures, so possess a open mind and the ability to adapt.

THE ROLE
·Manage, organise, and update relevant data using databases and bespoke online applications.
·Provide information internally and externally to assist and enable organisational operations.
·Analyse and interpret financial statistics and other data, and produce relevant reports using Spreadsheets.
·Interpret instructions and issues arising, and then implement actions according to policies and procedures.
·Communicate and engage with stakeholders to provide a pro-active support service.
·Research and investigate information to enable strategic decision-making by others.
·Maintain retro system in accordance with retro instructions and promotion forms.
·Issue invoices to suppliers relating to a wide range of activities.
·Review all customer claims, ensuring funding is claimed from suppliers where appropriate, and that all integrity checks are maintained.
·Maintain Sage prices in accordance with price changes and promotions.
·Process Low Profit Reports.
·Investigate Stock Invoice Queries.
·Any other ad hoc requests from the Commercial Finance Manager.

SALARY - £20,000 - £25,000 (Dependent on Exp)

EXPERIENCE

·Knowledge of Sage Accountancy software
·Competent with Microsoft Excel
·GCSE Maths A-C Minimum
·Good verbal & written communication skills
·Ability to work individually or as part of a team
·Self motivated
