This is a Trainee Accountant opportunity to join a growing and highly successful firm based in the Camberley area. A formal training contract will be provided to enable you to study for the AAT qualification. And after completing the AAT, you may then have the opportunity to train to become a fully qualified ACA or ACCA accountant. The working environment is excellent, and you’ll be working alongside other trainees in a friendly and supportive environment.
Your duties and responsibilities will be varied, including bookkeeping to trial balance, preparing VAT returns and reconciling balance sheet accounts. You will also gain experience of processing client payrolls, personal tax returns, assisting on audits, and supporting with the development of new procedures and systems. Hours of work are 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week).
As a trainee position, this role may particularly suit a college leaver who has recently finished their A-Levels. The successful candidate will have 3 A Levels (ideally including Maths) and GCSEs including Mathematics and English. You must also be able to demonstrate a hardworking approach and a positive, ‘can do’ attitude, keen to learn and take on new tasks. Attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines will also be essential.
