Established accountancy practice - Kendal - Accounts Tax Semi Senior - Up to £25,000 (DOE)
Your new firm
A well-established firm based in Kendal seek an Accounts & Tax Semi Senior to join their small but busy team. The firm offer a range of services including accountancy, tax and audit. This would be an excellent opportunity for someone to gain well rounded experience in a hands on role.
Your new role
In this tax and accounts job you will be in charge of a broad range of duties. The role will be predominately focused towards tax and will include preparing personal tax returns for a broad range of clients. You will also be involved with preparing accounts for small to medium limited companies, preparing VAT returns, carrying out offsite bookkeeping training with clients and will also get involved with some audit work. This is an excellent opportunity for you to gain skills and experience in all departments within practice and fulfil a hands on role.
What you'll need to succeed
The directors of the firm are seeking an individual that has past experience working for an accountancy practice preparing both personal tax returns and limited company accounts. You will be liaising with clients in this accounts and tax semi senior job so interpersonal skills and strong communication is key. You should be able to work efficiently and effectively in order to meet deadlines and targets and be an organised individual. The directors are looking to appoint someone who is personable, ambitious and passionate about taking their accounts career to the next step.
