We are an expanding and profitable independent restaurant and bar operator based in Central London. The Company was formed five years ago by an experienced management team who have previously operated a business together. A vacancy has arisen to join our existing finance team of eight, based within our head office.
This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate to commence a career in finance as the role will be varied and over time will likely include:
Purchase ledger (checking and authorising invoices, posting them on to Sage 50 Accounts, supplier statement reconciliations, making Bacs payments)
Bank reconciliations (including reconciliation of customer credit/debit card receipts)
Payroll (processing hourly paid staff on Sage Payroll, setting up new employees and issuing P45's to leavers)
Preparation of reports from our Epos/Integrated stock control system (stock usage and variance reports, sales mix analysis, daily sales timeslot analysis)
The role will expand over time and future progression is assured as we plan to open more sites going forward.
A minimum of one years experience within a finance department is preferable, although full training will be provided, however we are ideally seeking a candidate who is either currently studying for a finance qualification, or is intending to start. ACCA mentoring is available if desired, and study support is provided.
Our head office is centrally located between Baker Street, Marble Arch and Edgware Road tube stations.
