Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be working with a leading global manufacturing business in Doncaster as they look to recruit a Group Financial Accountant for their UK head office operation. Turning over approximately GBP500 Million, they have ambitious plans for the future and certainly an exciting time to join the firm.

The purpose of this role is to work as part of a Group Finance Team, managing the financial accounting for the Group, ensuring preparation of consolidated monthly and annual financial information; meeting all statutory reporting requirements; managing the group overheads as well as some involvement in projects and continuous improvement for group processes.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

– Consolidating the Group's financial results; including: Monthly actuals, Quarterly re–forecasts and Annual budgets
– Monthly Preparation of the Group Consolidated Finance Pack, including P & L, Balance Sheet and other financial reports
– Preparation of the Statutory Accounts and Annual Report
– Coordinate and manage the annual audit
– Ensure all necessary filings are made with Companies House and HMRC
– Oversee Company Treasury and various bank accounts
– Manage and collate the Group's cash forecasting and reporting
– Manage the Group operating company overheads so spend is controlled and to ensure value
– Oversee the annual Corporation Tax computations
– Develop and continuously improve business reporting
– Get involved in various projects to assist with continuous improvement
– Stakeholder management
– Any other ad –hoc duties commensurate with the role

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

– ACA/ACCA qualified
– Role would be ideal for a first–time mover from practice looking to make their first step into industry
– Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
– Experience of consolidating accounts
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
– Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
– Able to organise and prioritise workloads
– Organised, analytical and logical; process driven
– Able to work alone or as part of a team
– Proactive and action orientated
– High level of initiative
