Our client, an instantly recognisable FTSE 100 company based in Bedfordshire are looking to source a Tax Accountant to join their growing finance team. Key Responsibilities:-Maintain financial ledgers which support indirect tax-Working with stakeholders to ensure that the controls over indirect taxes operate effectively-Responsible for review of periodic VAT returns-Track the completion of regulatory fillings to ensure that payments are actioned on a timely basis-Ensure that the capture of master data for indirect tax purposes is optimised and the implementation of HMRC requirements is achieved. The ideal candidate will be an ACCA / CIMA studier with excellent communication skills and a strong working knowledge of VAT. A large part of the role will involve advising on VAT matters and the ability to speak another European language would be beneficial but not essential.
