This temporary Assistant Management Accountant position is working for a logistics company based in Maidenhead.

Description

This temporary Assistant Management Accountant position based in Maidenhead, will involve the following responsibilities:

• Accurate coding, processing & payment of overhead invoices

• Daily cashflow report updates

• Weekly sales reports & scorecards

• Month end journals - accruals, prepayments, depreciation, payroll etc

• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations

• Monthly VAT returns

• Variance analysis

• Fixed asset recording and calculating depreciation

• Update company forecasts

• Maintain chart of accounts

• Ad hoc analysis on sales and cost of sales

Profile

The successful candidate for this temporary Assistant Management Accountant position based in Maidenhead, will need to have the following skills:

• 1-2 years' experience working in a Finance department, and preferably studying or intending starting studies for an accountancy qualification

• Knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software, (SAGE would be advantageous)

• Understanding of business bookkeeping procedures

• Excellent numerical skills with an attention to detail

• Solid communication skills, both written and verbal

• High integrity and honesty

• Good organisational and planning ability

• Flexible, friendly, approachable and proactive
