Assistant Accountant - Study Support for ACCA / CIMA

The Organisation: BMC are delighted to be assisting our market leading business, based in the North Tyneside area with the recruitment of an Assistant Accountant. This is an exciting time to join the business, assisting with the provision of accurate and detailed financial reports, managing cost analysis and supporting the small team with all month end processes. Applicants will ideally be AAT qualified, and the successful candidate will receive study support for ACCA / CIMA. The Role: Supporting the Financial Controller and Senior Accountant with the production of management accounts and month end financial processes Assisting with budget setting and KPI analysis Production of journals Preparation of financial reports & commentary for Senior Management Team Cash flow forecasts Sales / customer analysis Analysing cost centres on a monthly basis Assisting with yearend processes VAT Bank reconciliations Assisting with invoicing and accounts receivable tasks when necessary The Individual: Competent IT user with good Excel skills Experience of working in a fast paced finance department is essential AAT qualified - study support for ACCA / CIMA will be provided Additional: This is a full time and permanent role based in North Tyneside
