Assistant Accountant needed for fantastic Salisbury organisation
Your new company
Your new company are a rapidly expanding organisation, based in Salisbury, and are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join them. You will be working within a small finance team, reporting to the Finance Director, assisting in the smooth day to day running of this growing organisation.
Your new role
In your new role you will be responsible for the day to day running of the accounts function. You will be heavily involved in the annual budgeting procedure, preparing the monthly management accounts, VAT returns, balance sheet reconciliations and driving process improvements. You will also be involved exciting new projects as the organisation continues to grow.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful you will have experience from a similar role within a small finance team. Ideally you will be part qualified, have experience from the public sector and an understanding of working in a fast paced environment. You will have excellent IT skills, including Excel, and be passionate about your work.
