Important role to play where you will play a large part of the operations within the division. Coordinating the day to day functions of the department.

Client Details

The client is a well established business on the outskirts of South Wales. This role has occured due to organic growth.

Description

The responsibilities include:

  • Review and monitor actual expenditure and income against budget across all departmental business.
  • Provide monthly reports on project accounts
  • Monitor financial transactions and ensure accuracy on a monthly basis
  • Lead, undertake and ensure that all purchase orders, invoices, staff payments, cash handling and travel arrangements are processed in accordance with financial regulations in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide financial and expenditure control administration
  • Support and advise colleagues in relation to compliance with the financial regulations and the management of project accounts
  • Line manage accounts assistants including appraisal and performance management and other support duties

    • Profile

    The successful candidate will have:

    • A Degree/Studying towards ACCA/CIMA (Desirable)
    • Excellent working knowledge/experience of Excel (V Lookup and Pivot Tables)
    • Experience of implementing the financial processes
    • Ability to produce work of an excellent standard
    • Month end reporting experience
    • The ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Ability to manage a team effectively
