Description

The main responsibilities for the Part Qualified Financial Accountant will include but not be limited to:

• Provide variance analysis, commentary and financial reporting

• Business partnering

• Supporting the Finance Manager with the implementation of any process improvements

• Assist with budget processes

• Manage of the audit process, including preparation of schedules, query resolution and supporting activities.

• Support preparation of tax, VAT and other external statutory reporting as required.

• Responsible for input to the period end close including thorough review of the Balance Sheet taking corrective action as required.

• Prepare and monitor cash flow

• Development and management of the month end process.

Profile

The successful candidate for the Part Qualified Financial Accountant will need to be familiar with the duties listed above, in particular working on Statutory Accounts and Budgeting. If you have worked in FMCG, Retail or manufacturing that will help but isn't imperative. You will also need to be part qualified and actively studying ACCA or CIMA.
