Overview
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for daily receivable transactions. The Staff Accountant will support the Accounting Manager with various accounting transactions.
Responsibilities
  • Performs daily cash reconciliations
  • Performs monthly account reconciliations
  • Processing cash transfer and account receivable transactions
  • Records journal entry transactions for input into the accounting system
  • Monitors account balances and suggests necessary balancing adjustments
  • Works closely with other departments to ensure accuracy of accounting information
  • Assists in postings to the fixed asset records, tracks fixed asset inventory and suggest necessary adjustments
  • Coordinates documentation and reports required for internal and external reviews
  • Performs other job related duties in keeping with the goals and objectives
  • Other duties as required.
Qualifications
Education, Licensing, and Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred, but not required
Experience Required:
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in an accounting department
Skills and Knowledge Required:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of automated account system, J.D. Edwards System is a plus
  • Effectively communicate
  • Ability to meet deadlines
