Basic Function
The Corporate FP&A Senior Financial Analyst is responsible in supporting the forecasting processes and management reporting requirements and deliverables for the global organization.

Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
  • Support the coordination, consolidation, reporting and analysis of the monthly forecast within the global forecasting platform, including meetings with process contributors across various finance and business functions to attain understanding and alignment as needed.
  • Prepare the consolidated forecast financial statements. Ensure the timely delivery and accuracy of the consolidated forecast and analysis.
  • Coordinate with the respective FP&A segment controlling and finance groups to ensure the timely receipt of deliverables, complete data validations, and track KPIs as it relates to the forecasting process.
  • Global BPC Super User and Administrator, including assistance in troubleshooting, user acceptance testing and enhancing the integrity of the data used in the forecast.
  • Coordinate with the respective FP&A segment controlling to ensure the timely receipt of deliverables and data quality as it relates to management reporting.
  • Assist in ad–hoc requests, such as evaluating new benchmarks, key metrics, and changes in regulations.
  • Participate in the FP&A or Finance initiatives.
Min. Qualifications
  • Accounting or Finance degree or related business degree is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in various accounting or finance functions with some in consolidations, forecasting and management reporting is required.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and familiarity with IFRS principles.
  • Intermediate knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g. SAP, BPC, HFM) and business intelligence (BI) software (e.g. Business Warehouse, Analysis for Office, Business Objects, Crystal for Reporting, Business Analytics) is preferred.
  • Demonstrate analytical skills and business acumen, including the ability to identify and understand key business drivers in the petrochemical manufacturing industry.
  • Ability to multi–task, prioritize, and effectively manage key stakeholder expectations and deadlines. Includes responding to numerous (and often urgent) requests from multiple stakeholders for financial analysis and commentary.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively build and maintain solid relationship with internal/external stakeholders, and strong presentation skills to message and communicate results clearly and concisely.
  • A self–starter with ability to shape decisions; engage with stakeholders; and rally support to drive operational and reporting excellence.
  • Good team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage interfaces and build solid relationships with all key stakeholders. Includes being sensitive to, and effective at, operating across different functional areas, organizations and cultures.
