Assistant Accountant - Study Support

My client, a well established business which has its finance team based in Sutton are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. This role offers study support towards ACCA/CIMA and would suit someone who has already started studying, done the role in a similar capacity and is looking to learn further in order to progress.

Key responsibilities include:

• Calculating and posting some Accruals/Prepayments
• Issuing monthly Area/Region Managers P&L’s and providing explanations/ breakdowns as requested
• Producing monthly Head Office departments P&L’s and providing explanations/ breakdowns as requested
• Being involved in the yearly budgeting process
• Actively being involved in the month-end process
• Dealing with everyday store queries
• Dealing with field support queries in an efficient and professional manner
• Any other duties as may be required from time to time.
• Liaison with all internal departments
