UCSF Benioff Children's Physicians (UBCP) has exclusively retained Cejka Executive Search to assist in the recruitment of a Finance Manager.

Founded in 2014, UBCP is a multispecialty physician foundation and an associated clinically integrated network that is jointly operated by UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital San Francisco. UBCP links physicians in world–renowned medical systems to provide patients with integrated care that results in better health outcomes at lower costs. In addition to supporting UBCP, the Finance Manager will support affiliated and partner physician organizations and foundations, including UCSF Benioff Children's Physicians Medical Foundation, BayChildren's Medical Group, Pediatric Multispecialty Medical Group, Adult Medical Foundation and other UCSF Health Physician Affiliates.

The Finance Manager will support the physician groups through financial planning, analysis, reporting and decision support activities. The Finance Manager will manage and lead the preparation of annual operating budget, forecast and long range strategic plans and present information to senior management, Board of Directors and other advisory committees. The Finance Manager will be skilled in creating models and financial analytical tools to assist in the progress towards achieving organizational goals relating to financial growth and/or improving financial profitability and efficiency. The Finance Manager will identify additional revenue sources and support operations with new partnerships with community physician clinics. Working closely with accounting, revenue cycle, contracting and physician payment teams, the Finance Manager will support the organization in establishing and carrying out best practices related to revenue and collections.

Successful candidates will have several years of managing finance teams with solid knowledge of financial reporting, analysis, forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning for medical groups or faculty practice plan. Strong technical as well as interpersonal skills; must be able to work within a complex academic healthcare system. A master's degree in business administration, accounting or finance and/or a CPA certification is desirable.
