We are currently working on a Business Transformation Programme, that will include the implementation of SAP (S/4 HANA) across the Group, and the set-up of Global Business Services (GBS). The new GBS centre in Dublin will manage a wide scope of Finance and Commercial processes for the Group's European Business Units.

The Role

The successful candidate will be part of the Global Business Services Centre (GBS) team reporting directly to the P2P Manager. The P2P Super User role provides an exciting and rare opportunity to be a key member of the Glen Dimplex Programme Team during the set-up phase of GBS and the first SAP implementation. The P2P Super User will become the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on P2P processes and will transition to the Global Business Services Team once GBS goes live.

Responsabilities
  • Develop professional relationships with stakeholders across the group
  • Work within the Glen Dimplex Programme Team to gain detailed knowledge of the standard P2P processes and relevant SAP functionality
  • Become the P2P SME on the Team and be a champion of best practice processes being implemented as part of the Glen Dimplex Programme
  • Take a lead role in all test cycles, Unit Testing, Integration Testing & UAT
  • Test scope definition
  • Test Scripts Authoring
  • Test execution & Defect Management
  • Support the development of P2P training material i.e. writing course materials, exercises etc
  • Deliver End User Training on SAP and related business processes
  • Provide Hypercare support to Operational end users as part of the Go-Live, to ensure a smooth and successful transition per the agreed plan and
  • timeline
  • Meet transaction processing targets and SLA's

Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 3-4 years of P2P experience, ideally in a Global Services environment.
  • Experience of at least 1 ERP implementation project, in the role of SME/Business Analyst
  • At least 2 years experience delivering training (e.g. classroom, remotely and 1:1 environments) to different stakeholders
  • Good documentation skills
  • Strong communication skills both oral (incl. presentation skills) and written.
  • Ability to work on own initiative in a team environment
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Competent in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of SAP an advantage
  • Knowledge of a second European language would be an advantage (e.g. German, French)
