This is an exciting opportunity for a established assistant accountant to join a growing business based on the Wirral. This permanent role will be reporting into the Financial Controller.

Description

This Assistant Accountant role will include the following duties:

  • Assist with the month end
  • Intercompany journals
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • VAT returns
  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist with sales ledger and purchase ledger
  • GDPR compliance
  • Preparation of sales, costing and variance analysis
  • Ensure that all work is in line with policies and procedures

    • Profile

    The ideal skills for this role will cover the following;

  • Previous involvement in month end accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments
  • Excellent accountancy software such as strong Excel
  • AAT Qualified or Graduate in accountancy and finance
  • Active CIMA / ACCA studies (early to mid-stages)
  • Keen to develop skills and support a group function

  • 23,000-26,000 salary
