Position SAP FICO – Finance Manager Location Alameda– CA Type Full Time Job Description General Summary FICO FInance Manager will be accountable for the build and implementation of solutions for strategic, innovation and transformation initiatives which will integrate and enhance client's business functionality, overall performance, and maintain a high degree of user satisfaction. The position will also be responsible for Responsibilities Support, optimize and maintain IT Financial systems. Support the definition, design of financial systems and process controls. Will participates within the build team as a configuration developer. Will follow typical project methodology to define scope, develop, test, deploy solutions and transition to run. Work on designing, configuring and implementation of Financial systemstools, ensuring strong business alignment and systems integration Collaborate with a variety of cross–functional IT teams including middleware, ABAP developers, Operational Change Management and Software Validation Teams. Establishing highly effective working relationships with our key business partners through clean execution and open, honest, direct communication. Configurations development within the SAP FICO module along with working across all FICO sub–modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, Cost Accounting etc.) A strong understanding of SAP financial integration within Order to Cash and Procure to Pay processes. Development will primarily focus within the SAP Financials and Controlling area of SAP with the potential to expand beyond FICO modules including Order to Cash and Procure to Pay processes. Design and review accounting integration for end to end scenarios for Order to Cash, Supply Chain and Manufacturing. Work through integration points within FICO, OTC, and PTP Working knowledge of supply chain solutions and other capabilities enabled by SAP. Design and implement solutions for process effectiveness and efficiency. Work closely with business teams and the software vendors to resolve software issues quickly and completely. Evaluate and recommend new technologies to further improve user experiences, enterprise integration, performance and scalability. Provide strong hands–on technical expertise, analyze business requirement, identify risks, and collaborate. Research and recommend alternate solutions. Participate in the development of IT related policies, standards, and procedures. Ensure system documentation is accurately developed, organized and kept current. Actively engage business teams on a regular basis to ensure business needs are met. Comply with quality system regulations, standards and procedures. Position Qualifications Bachelorrsquos Degree in related field or equivalent work experience. 8+ yearsrsquo experience of SAP FICO – Experience should include GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, COPA, Revenue Recognition and Banking. At least 2 full implementations in SAP FICO. Strong experience in SAP S4 preferred but experience with SAP ECC is a must. Strong understanding of Cash Management, Tax, Treasury processes. Hands on experience in configuration development within SAP systems, specifically in FICO modules and sub–modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, Cost Accounting, etc.) as well as in depth business knowledge. Deep knowledge and hands on experience in solution design in the areas of Cost center accounting, Profit center accounting, Product costing, COPA, Fixed assets, Internal orders and Goods movement account determination. Must have experience in Account determination of goods movement, material costing, material ledger and actual costing. Experience in Inventory reporting, Fixed assets capital spend reporting and COPA is needed. Master data triage and ownership of accounting views in cross functional master data – Material master, Production order etc. Good understanding of SAP financial integration within Order to Cash and Procure to Pay processes. Candidate must have experience in designing accounting interfaces between ERP systems and should be able to understand accounting flow of transactions. Must be a motivated self–starter able to drive activity. Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently throughout the business and technical teams.
