Financial Controller 75k

My client, a marketing and communications company based in Dublin 2 is seeking a Financial Controller for a 9 month maternity leave cover.

Fixed term contract: early July 2019-31st March 2020

Reporting to: Managing Director

Job Description:

· Financial performance reporting for Month end, Year to date and forecast for P&L and

· Balance Sheet

· Detailed P&L review and variance reporting against budget and prior year

· Preparation of reports for finance meetings and board meetings

· Management of Audit 2019 process with external auditors

· Dealing with Tax Advisors and other external consultants when necessary

· Provide relevant reports as required by Board of Directors

· Ensuring month end close off dates adhered to in all areas

· Weekly and Monthly cash flow management for the agency

· Dealing with the Bank on all relevant matters

· Manage online banking systems

· Maintenance of Fixed Asset register

· Provide financial information required in preparation of tender documents

· Management of Finance Department and oversight of all functions

· Supporting commercial negotiations with customers and other third parties

· Preparation of Employee contracts and Contractor service agreements

Requirements:

· Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA)

· Minimum of 5+ years PQE in a similar finance role

· Advanced Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office

· Experience in manging a finance team with good oversight of all functions in the department

· Excellent problem-solving, analytical and numerical abilities

· Experience with integrated accounting software systems

· Detail oriented with strong organisational and multi-tasking skills
