Currently recruiting for the position of Senior Management Accountant with a leading Irish Multinational based Co. Mayo with a salary of €45,000 and excellent additional benefits. This is a superb opportunity for someone with an in-depth knowledge of the month end reporting process, budgeting, forecasting and statutory reporting looking to develop their career with a really proactive and growing company with management responsibilities. The successful candidate has to have strong analytical skills, attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role and will be responsible for the development and management of the Accounts Payable, Treasury and Tax functions for the entities within the Group structure reporting to the group Financial Controller. Responsibilities: Oversee the operations of the AP, Treasury, Tax and Payroll functions To provide first line decision making on weekly/ monthly payment runs. Ensure credit notes relating returned stock are received from the vendor and pricing is consistent with contractual terms Complete monthly financial close out of company credit cards and employee expenses for management accounts Assisting with the year-end audit and statutory accounts preparation Assisting in the annual budgeting process Forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and available funds for investment Produce/ Review Quarterly/Bi monthly VAT returns accurately and submit and pay on time Ensure all other payments/deductions to employees are processed on the payroll in line with the payroll timeframes in a timely basis and are accurate and complete Qualifications: Qualified Accountant with 3+ years of post-qualification experience Previous management experience is desirable Strong technical tax and audit experience along with multi-currency Ability to work with significant volumes of data to investigate and arrive at a point which allows an information based decision to be made Excellent Microsoft Excel skills Strong communication skills and the ability to take ownership and responsibility for the role from an early stage Quick learner with good time management skills with the ability to prioritise Works under pressure, deadline orientated and flexible working attitude If you require any additional information on this and other vacancies, market updates, salary guidelines or career advice please feel free to get in touch on 061-430940 or drop me a line at .
