Finance Project Manager - x 4 - Dublin 2

This is a key role to support the SAP Program and future Finance Transformation programs within Corporate services Finance EU. This role will initially be the primary POC for Procure 2 Pay representing Corporate Services EU on the SAP Program during 2017/18 and will support other related initiatives. Responsibilities: • Lead the GBS SAP deployment for Procure to Pay and future related area projects • Develop Impact Assessment / Workstream project plans • Align Legal Entity Project requirements • Define & Sign off Solution Design / Represent GBS in SAP Workshops • Define Testing Scope & Test Scripts • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing within GBS Operations • Responsible for analysing and documenting “As Is” and “To Be” processes and procedures • Coordinate updates to SOPs/WIs and training material • Provide summaries of Project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and performance statistics to identify key areas of opportunity, ensuring that concise and accurate information is available for informed management decisions making purposes. • Work across Business Process & Technology Owners (and teams) to provide end customers with a reliable quality solution fit for purpose • Work with project and program manager to drive deadlines, commitments, and manage interdependencies / risks • Communications: Develop, deliver and maintain communication plans and channels for all internal and external stakeholders. Education & Experience Requirements: Required: • Proven min 5 years experience of Finance shared services • Knowledge of ERP / systems (prefer SAP ) • project deployment experience (leading projects, WS) Preferred: • Qualified accountant with 5 years PQE • Qualifications in Project Management and Program Management (PMP, PRINCE II, etc) Key Skills, Abilities, and Competencies: • Have 5 - 10 years of progressive hands on experience in Financial Shared services/Finance • Process area Ops/Project experience desired (adjust as needed for I2P, I2C etc) • Relevant Finance Transformation Project management experience • Able to take the initiative to solve problems quickly and completely • Ability to manage across multiple work streams and initiatives globally; must handle conflicting work priorities according to business, technical, and financial need • Ideally also have; o 5 years SAP Financial systems experience o Qualifications in Project Management and Program Management (PMP, PRINCE II, etc) About Shire: Shire is the leading global biotechnology company focused on serving people with rare diseases and other highly specialized conditions.
