Client Details

Our client are a market leading Big 4 firm based in Bristol. This team are is very proactive and are involved in a large variety of projects and secondments. The team culture is very supportive and offer agile work arrangements to help employees with everyday life.

Description

The key responsibilities for this Assistant Manager - Management Consultancy role are:

  • Reviewing periodic management accounts including variance analysis and commentary, supporting junior team members in preparing these
  • Reviewing annual statutory financial statements for a wide variety of entities across numerous industries in accordance with IFRS and FRS102
  • Responding to requests for proposals from prospective clients
  • Working alongside internal and external stakeholders
  • Being a driver for change by seeking continuous improvement in our internal and client processes
  • Drafting engagement letters in accordance with the risk management protocols for partner review
  • Acting as a role model for junior team members and support them in their development
  • Taking ownership of internal administration including billing and debtor management for your client portfolio

Profile

To be considered for this Assistant Manager - Management Consultancy role your professional experience will be:

  • Professional accounting qualification (ACCA/ACA)
  • Technical accounting skills (FRS 102, IFRS) and experience of statutory accounts reviews across a variety of GAAPs
  • A good working knowledge of VAT and payroll compliance
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office with the ability to use a variety of accounting packages
  • Experience working with senior non-finance people within a dynamic, fast changing environment as part of a multi-functional team/project
  • Excellent project management skills, able to work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
