Page Personnel is working with a reputable food manufacturing business in Liverpool to recruit for a passed finalist Management Accountant.

Client Details

A well known brand operating within the food manufacturing sector, this business is a market leader in providing food products into the marketplace. They are now looking to grow their presence within the retail sector. They have been operating in the UK for several decades, and are part of a global business supplying various food products into customers all over the world.

Description

As Management Accountant, your purpose is to manage the month end accounts production process, as well as providing accurate and timely financial and non-financial information across the business. Your key duties will include:

  • Preparing monthly management accounts to tight deadlines
  • Preparing balance sheet reconciliations
  • Supporting the Finance Director with key project work to help improve reporting processes
  • Developing internal controls
  • Supporting the year end audit process
  • Assisting with the budgeting and forecasting process, including monthly reviews with departmental heads to manage and reconcile budgets
  • Supporting the Finance Director in producing statutory accounts and tax packs

    • Profile

    The successful candidate must have the following skills and experience:

    • CIMA/ACCA studier, ideally passed finalist level
    • Relevant experience at a similar level
    • Strong technical skills as well as good commercial acumen
    • Advanced Excel skills
    • Experience of an ERP system such as SAP or similar
    • Strong interpersonal skills and confident to engage with stakeholders across the business
    • People management skills are desirable
