Description:
· The Hong Kong Performance Management Team is responsible for the performance management of the Hong Kong business results, forward-looking analysis and decision support activities.
· The role is expected to have a strong focus on expenses for the Hong Kong Franchise and to closely engage with various business functions in understanding and managing expenses.
· The role is also expected to cover the analysis and review of the Other Banking segment with a focus on Treasury Capital and Other Products.
· The role will also be involved in the financial budgeting and forecasting processes for the Bank.

Key Responsibilities:
The candidate is expected to play a central role in delivering the following:
· Provide insightful expense analysis for actual, budget and forecast to support strategic decision-making, resource allocation and performance management.
· Identify business drivers, trends and risks and opportunities
· Perform competitor analysis to identify strengths and weaknesses.
· Review and analyze the performance of the Other Banking segment in relation to actual reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
· Lead and drive continuous improvements, identifying opportunities to consolidate, automate, and gain process efficiencies.
· Improve interaction with offshore supporting teams in Chennai as well as various Regional and Global Functions teams based in Singapore, UK and elsewhere.
· Coordinate and prepare presentation materials, supporting documentation and talking points for internal or external meetings including but not limited to financial reviews and Board meetings.
· Support half-yearly and yearly financial reporting and financial budget and forecast processes.

Qualifications:
· Good team player.
· Undergraduate degree, preferable in a discipline related to Finance/Economics.
· Preferably CPA/CA qualification or international equivalent.
· Solid years working experience in Finance or related field.
· Strong Excel and presentation skills.
· Ability to navigate vast amounts of complex data easily, with attention to detail.
· Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.
· Ability to manage own time amidst competing priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
· Ability to build close relationships and interact at all levels in the organization
