Job details:
- Assist with the preparation of Solvency II reports which will involve planning, review and analysis for senior management.
- Assist with the completion of the end to end Solvency II reporting for one Irish legal entity and for other Group entities where necessary.
- Responding to Central Bank of Ireland questions on Solvency II submissions.
- Liasing with other functions such as Actuarial, Risk Management, Reinsurance and Compliance to exchange data, answer questions and ensure consistency of reporting.
- Produce board and management reports and act as a point of contact for any queries or questions.
- Respond to questions from External and Internal Auditors.
- Proactively implement process improvements for Solvency II.
- Ad hoc projects such as mergers of other Group entities and the impact of Solvency II.
Education/Qualifications/Experience:
- Professional Accountancy Qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or similar) is essential
- University degree in any discipline is preferred.
- 3-5 years post-qualification experience gained working within general (re) insurance technical accounting/reporting areas including specific Solvency II experience.
- Experience with Solvency II reporting is preferred.
- Ability to manage time, work to tight deadlines, prioritise and adapt to changing requirements
