Assistant Financial Accountant - Part Qualified/Finalist

Our client, a pharmaceutical company based in Dublin city is currently seeking a part qualified accountant to join their finance team.

You will have at least 2 years accountancy experience across all areas of finance. You will assist the Group Financial Accountant. This is a very broad role where you will gain exposure across all areas of finance.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist with monthly management accounts
2. Assist with the preparation of financial statements under IFRS
3. Oversee and own the Accounts Payable function in the office
4. Assist in the preparation of VAT & PAYE returns
5. Ensure all intercompany accounts balance
6. Assist with statutory accounts
7. Assist with preparation of budgets for a number of entities
8. Other ad-hoc projects as required

Requirements:

1. Part Qualified Accountant/Finalist (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 2-3 years' experience, ideally in the Pharmaceutical industry (however they are open on industry)
2. Strong Accounts Payable experience
3. Working knowledge of VAT
4. A self-learner with the desire to work in an entrepreneurial company

Salary is ₠45k - ₠50k, with benefits
