Continuing to grow rapidly via a mix of both organic growth and acquisition, this role sits at group level with a key focus on one of the businesses fastest growing divisions, specialising in both distribution, production and research and development of various technically advanced agricultural products.

As a progressive business, they offer great progress opportunities and heavily invest in their employees and this is the chance to join a close knit finance team based in City of London, with the aim being for this Financial Accountant to become Finance Manager in the next 18 months - 2 years.

Description

The Role

This Financial Accountant role will be a broad, all-rounder hybrid position that will offer both core reporting and more commercial, project focused responsibilities including:

  • Production of consolidated group reporting packs (10+ entities) - monthly, quarterly & early + commentary & presentation
  • Budgeting, forecasting & group strategic planning
  • Business partnering with local finance teams - improving accuracy of local reporting
  • Preparation of Ad Hoc Reports for Board meetings
  • Process improvements - including integration of new mergers/acquisitions + new territory expansion
  • Systems implementation - assist with the roll out of a new financial system (currently very excel focused)
  • Other ad hoc/project reporting where required

    What's Needed

  • Practice Trained - ACA or ACCA
  • Advanced Excel - Up to macro level desirable - proven analytical background
  • Strong technically ability (consolidation and IFRS again desirable)
  • Proven ability to interact and manage senior stakeholders
  • Able to commute to City of London (Bank Station)
