Your talents will be used to prepare and consolidate financial statements, analyze and reconcile accounts, analyze cash flow, build budgets and forecasts, prepare audits, and handle internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Candidates will need excellent analytical skills and an ability to keep up in a fast–paced workspace. This Senior Accountant role is based in Dallas, Texas. What you get to do every single day – Partake in various department–wide initiatives – Successfully collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, controls and provide support on special requests when necessary – Aid in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors – Administer Ad–hoc projects as necessary – Produce error–free monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP – Analyze financial information and report on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks) – Produce monthly consolidated P L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management purposes – Adherence to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process – Provide Balance Sheet account reconciliations Interested candidates should send send their resume to Cedric Owens at [Click Here to Email Your Resum?] .
– Sharp, analytical thinking abilities, always seeking to draw connections and identify the "why" – Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity – Skilled at time management – Excellent oral and written communication skills – Account analysis experience desired – Microsoft Excel experience required – Self–starter and strong ethical standards – Familiarity with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required – Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines – Strong attention to detail – Prior experience in a public accounting environment is highly valued – Knowledgeable of ERP systems – SOX internal control assessments (Section 404) experience – 1+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience – BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
